This beautiful Chaenomeles plant will in early spring become covered in vibrant red blooms, each with contrasting golden anthers. These beautiful blooms will be followed by golden rich blooms which can be made into jellies and preserves. Would make a fantastic wall shrub or free standing specimen. Plant Japanese Quince into moist, but well-drained soil in full sun or dappled shade. Chaenomeles plants are very low maintenance, and will only need a light prune after flowering each year.
